Theo Pelingan

Theo Pelingan is a full-stack engineer with more than eleven years of shipping production software. He leads Taraki, an independent software studio in the Philippines.

Theo has built and run production software since 2015, the last six-plus years as a technical lead responsible for architecture, delivery and the systems after launch. He has delivered inside a large regulated enterprise and has worked with the same Australian client since 2019.

Through Taraki he designs, builds and runs his own products end to end, including the content sites Nature Wonder, FruitLore and Kotselog, the offline-first field app Tala, and this blog. All of them are built with AI coding tools, serverless on AWS, with automated checks that stop unsourced facts from publishing.
